Greetings to all ! I, on behalf of Charaibahi College fraternity, express my gratitude to the respected parents and guardians for trusting the future of your wards with us. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome dear students to this premier institution, a temple of learning, innovation and research with a futuristic vision since 1990. It is a result of the foresightedness of the people of the locality who entrusted the responsibility of cultivating an environment for intellectual, ethical, moral and physical upliftment on the shoulder of the college.

          Charaibahi College has been serving the students community in their academic excellence for the last three decades. At present, the college is offering TDC courses in the Arts stream under the University of Gauhati. As an affiliated college, the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) have been introduced in our college from the academic session 2019-20. Started with just 10 students in the first academic year, now the college has an enrollment of more than 800 students and most of them belong to economically backward classes and reserved category.

              Our faculty members are sincerely dedicated to the task of imparting higher education to the students and they regularly attend refresher programmes, orientation programmes and short-term courses to keep them abreast of latest developments in their respective subjects. We strictly follow the Academic Calendar of our affiliating university and the other events as mentioned in the prospectus. The college is totally ragging free and an anti-ragging committee is also constituted to monitor any type of ragging activity of the college. Furthermore, the students will be subjected to punishment and disciplinary action against any kind of offence, indiscipline and unsocial behaviour including their failure in acquiring the required attendance in class room instructions.
