ROLE OF UNION BODY MEMBERS OF CHARAIBAHI COLLEGE
The Students' Union (SU), an elected body that represents students and communicates with the administration on their behalf, acts as a voice for their issues and requests. The tenure of Student Union is a full academic year. In both academic and extracurricular areas, the Students' Union has consistently taken an active role in promoting students' overall welfare. College Week, its closing function, the Freshmen Social, and other events are organised by the Students' Union each academic year. For the Inter-College Sports, the Union undertakes the selection of the students for inter college sports and cultural competition.
The Union body has been guided by the following objectives:
- To represent the students' welfare and interests.
- To encourage a healthy corporate culture among all College members.
- To create an academic environment through a disciplined approach to pursue higher education.
- To organize Co-Curricular activities.
- To uphold students' rights and to encourage their academic pursuits.
- To encourage better interpersonal relationships among all people through fostering a framework of friendship and service.
- To inspire and support the students to become good and responsible citizen.
